On Wednesday August 24, 2022, at the end of the final of the Grand Concours Hydro-Québec, Artisti awarded Maude Sonier the Artisti Prize accompanied by a $1,000 bursary.
“With her warm voice, candor and undeniable talent, Maude has become an obvious choice for Artisti.”
France D’Amour, President of Artisti and member of the jury
Singer-songwriter from Miramichi, New Brunswick, Maude Sonier made her debut in music with the Accros de la chanson contest in 2021. The musician and singer plays sometimes with the guitar, sometimes with the piano. The lyrics of her composition are inspired by her emotions and stories based in part on her experience.
Artisti would like to congratulate Maude for obtaining her Prize but also all the artists who took part in the 54th edition of the FICG.
See you next year !
