ARIANE ROY, ÉMILE BILODEAU, FLORE LAURENTIENNE, HUBERT LENOIR, KIM RICHARDSON AND PATRICK WATSON HONORED AT THE 4TH EDITION OF THE ARTISTI GALA
Montreal, September 05, 2023 – The 4th edition of the Gala Artisti was held on August 31 at the Lion d’Or. On this occasion, 5 prizes of $1,000 were awarded by Artisti: the Audace, Lumière, Rayonnement, Découverte and Coup de cœur des adhérents awards. In addition, for a second consecutive year, the Fondation des artistes (FDA) joined Artisti in awarding the Prix Bienveillance, also accompanied by a $1,000 amount.
Hosted with brio by Catherine Éthier and punctuated by artists’ performances, the Artisti Gala celebrated the success of the organization’s members and gave rise to some unforgettable moments! Narcisse, Simon Kearney, Catherine Durand and Amay Laoni took to the stage at the Lion d’Or. Finally, Flore Laurentienne, winner of the “Coup de cœur des adhérents” award, brought the Artisti Gala to a close with a masterful solo piano performance.
THE WINNERS :
This 4th edition of the Artisti Gala crowned Ariane Roy (Prix découverte), Émile Bilodeau (Prix Bienveillance awarded by the Fondation des Artistes), Flore Laurentienne (Prix Coup de cœur des adhérents), Hubert Lenoir (Prix Audace), Kim Richardson (Prix Lumière) and Patrick Watson (Prix Rayonnement).
Artisti would like to acknowledge the work of the music industry professionals who nominated and selected the winners of the various awards, except for the Prix Coup de cœur selected by Artisti’smembers whovoted for their “favourite” artist, and the Prix Bienveillance, whose winner was chosen by a committee of peers from the Fondation des Artistes.
