On Wednesday October 7, 2020, following the Annual General Meeting of the Societies ’Council for the Collective Management of Performers’ Rights (SCAPR), our Executive Director, Annie Morin, was elected Director of the international organization. She therefore joins for 4 years the 10 other administrators who come from the four corners of Europe and who work for the development of cooperation between collective management societies of performers from around the world.

A non-profit organization based in Brussels, the SCAPR brings together 58 collective management societies of performers from 42 countries. Its mission is to improve the efficiency of the collective management of rights and the payment of the rights of performers, in particular through the development and implementation of global databases such as the IPD (International Performers Database) and the VRDB2.
